In development: Alex Dault's newest play gets the workshop treatment at Gibson House

What makes an ordinary man become a revolutionary? Playwright Alex Dault's Turkey Shoot is the story of the reformer David Gibson in the climactic year leading up to the Rebellion of 1837. David, a respected member of his community and a political moderate, becomes swept up in the cause of the radical William Lyon Mackenzie.

In January 2015, with the help of an Animating Historic Sites grant, Single Thread workshopped Alex's new play in the historic rooms of the Gibson House, allowing visitors to see actors depict the epic moments leading up to the 1837 Rebellion.
