Single Thread Theatre Company is proud to present a site-specific touring production of Salt Water Moon across Southern Ontario in July 2014. Single Thread will take this classic story out of the theatre and onto porches across the province.

Salt Water Moon is a beloved play by Newfoundlander David French about love, summer nights and coming home. This play speaks to the rural experience and the hopes, dreams and fears of youth. It explores these themes with humour and tenderness, illuminating Canada’s history through the story of Jacob and Mary, played by East Coast actors Michelle Langille and Michael MacEachern and directed by Single Thread’s Artistic Director Liam Karry.

Gathered in the front yard by the porch, Salt Water Moon audiences will experience a unique and intimate evening of theatre, snuggled up on blankets and lawn chairs with their family and friends. Come join us!
