Single Thread Theatre Company returns to Spadina Museum: Historic House & Gardens with a remount of its 2011 sold-out production of Much Ado About Nothing.
Set in Toronto circa 1918, the production evokes the centenary of World War I and recalls a pivotal period in the city's history. With Much Ado About Nothing, Single Thread Theatre Company connects its audience with the home for which Spadina Avenue was named (and subsequently, mispronounced) through a re-telling of Shakespeare’s classic comedy. Located in the shadow of Casa Loma, the show takes audiences on a journey through the chambers, alcoves and orchards of this massive Edwardian estate.
